Colorado Springs Store Latest To Get Busted Allegedly Selling 'Spice'

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Attorney General John Suthers has announced a fourth lawsuit against a store for selling "spice" or synthetic marijuana.

The most recent suit is against the PoPo Wee Mart in Colorado Springs.

Police said they removed 1,505 packages of spice products labeled as "potpourri" from the store. Police said they found the spice in the store at least three times.

The Attorney General's Office is seeking a $2,000 fine for each violation.

Last year more than 260 people in the Denver metro area ended up in emergency rooms after getting sick from ingesting spice.
