Springs Police Search For Parents Of Baby Left With Babysitter

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs would like the public's help locating the parents of a child who might be a child abuse victim.

According to police, the approximately 11-month-old girl with blonde hair was left with a babysitter on Saturday at the Creekside Apartments near Powers Boulevard and Space Center Drive.

"The child was in an infant seat or car seat carrier. The parents are possibly new to the Colorado Springs area. The parents are not suspects. The police department would like to identify the child and check her welfare," police said in a statement.
