Police Clear Out 12 Tons Of Garbage From Homeless Camps

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs cleared out 12 tons of garbage from homeless camps.

The camps were spread out across several acres near Las Vegas Street and Tejon Street in Colorado Springs.

Crews filled at least four dumpsters with trash and debris.

Last month, firefighters battled massive flames at a homeless camp after multiple propane tanks exploded and started a fire.
