Driver Hits Gas Instead Of Brake, Business Slammed

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A driver escaped unharmed after her car slammed into a Colorado Springs business.

The crash happened at the Dollar Tree on Garden of the Gods Road around 11 a.m. Saturday.

The windows were shattered but there was no structural damage done to the store.

The woman told police she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. She was cited for careless driving.
