Colorado Man Dies After In Skiing Accident In Park City

PARK CITY, Utah (AP) - A Colorado man is dead after he crashed into a tree while skiing in Park City.

Police say the incident happened Saturday shortly before 10:20 a.m. at Park City Resort.

They say the 48-year-old man was skiing an advanced trail and hit a tree.

Ski patrol officers administered medical attention while waiting for a helicopter but police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities did not release the man's identity.

They say he was from Aspen and was skiing with family.
