Colorado Records Astounding 1,135 Record High Temps In 60 Days

DENVER (CBS4) - It's been an abnormally warm fall season in Colorado thus far, especially at night.
During the 60 day period between September 22 and November 20 there were 1,135 record high temperatures either tied or broken across the state. Over half of those were set at night.
The unusual warmth delayed the start of ski season at several resorts and aided the expansion of drought.
September 22-30
- Record High Max Temps - 21 (8 tied, 13 broken)
- Record High Min Temps - 67 (24 tied, 43 broken)
October 1-31
- Record High Max Temps - 230 (72 tied, 158 broken)
- Record High Min Temps - 428 (55 tied, 373 broken)
November 1-20
- Record High Max Temps - 186 (35 tied, 151 broken)
- Record High Min Temps - 203 (31 tied, 172 broken)
During the same 60 day period there were 38 new record lows set.
September 22-30
- Record Low Max Temps - 10 (2 tied, 8 broken)
- Record Low Min Temps - 4 (0 tied, 4 broken)
October 1-31
- Record Low Max Temps - 7 (2 tied, 5 broken)
- Record Low Min Temps - 16 (6 tied, 10 broken)
November 1-20
- Record Low Max Temps - 1 (0 tied, 1 broken)
- Record Low Min Temps - 0 (0 tied, 0 broken)
