Colorado's 'People's Tree' Arrives In Washington D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS4) - The nation's capitol welcomed a 55-foot-tall Englemann Spruce from Colorado on Friday. The "People's Tree" is now on display on the west lawn.
The 82-year-old tree came from the Uncompahgre National Forest in southwest Colorado. It made several stops along its journey including in Denver last weekend.

The tree will be lit on Dec. 2. The tree's official Facebook page will stream the lighting.
