Colorado Once Again Ranked No. 50 In An Obesity Rate Study

(AP/CBS4) — A new report says Colorado has the lowest rate of obesity among adults in the nation.

The report was released Monday by Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

It said adult obesity rates rose in Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio and Utah.

Colorado had the lowest rate at 21.3 percent.

Arkansas' rate was the worst with 35.9 percent and West Virginia had an obesity rate of 35.7 percent. Mississippi was third at 35.5 percent.

West Virginia and Mississippi tied for first last year.
