Colorado Company Teams Up With Pharmacy On Locking Pill Vials

DENVER (CBS4)- A company in Colorado has teamed up with a pharmacy to make sure prescription painkillers don't end up in the wrong hands.
Safe Rx has developed locking prescription vials. A passcode must be entered to open the bottle and retrieve the medication.
RxPlus Pharmacies will use the vials for opioids. The hope is that the vials will keep drug abusers from accessing the drugs.
