Colorado College Bus Hits, Kills Pedestrian Near Coors Field

DENVER (CBS4) - A pedestrian was killed in Denver Tuesday afternoon after getting hit by a bus belonging to Colorado College.

According to police, the accident occurred at 20th and Chestnut streets.

Streets around the area had to be blocked off for the investigation.

Colorado College confirmed it was one of their buses that hit the pedestrian. Students were on a field trip at the time of the accident and no students were on the bus. Another bus was sent to get pick up students.

No other details have been released.
