Coach Kubiak Likes What He Saw From Lynch, Taylor
PHOENIX (CBS4) - Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak was pleased with the play of two players in the first half of the team's final preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals -- quarterback Paxton Lynch and wide receiver Jordan Taylor.
The two hooked up on a 57-yard touchdown pass on the first drive of the game, and then Taylor hauled in another touchdown pass in the third quarter.
Paxton and Sunshine hook up again. Another TD makes it 23-17 Cardinals with 51 seconds to go in the 3rd. #4Broncos

"Jordan Taylor has done a great job. Paxton has done a good job. We had a little bit of a problem protecting him here, he dropped a snap. Hopefully we can come out here in the second half and protect him a little better and let him play," Kubiak said.
Paxton Lynch showing his mobility. Didn't pick up the first down, but that's one of the things that makes Lynch so fun to watch. #4Broncos

The team did have their struggles, however.
"The first two drives, actually the first three drives we're really good. We missed a field goal, so since then we haven't done much. They've taken control of the game with the ball and done a (heck) of a job. We have to get better in the second half," Kubiak said.
I've said this for a couple weeks now, Paxton Lynch has a ways to go. He's not even the best QB on the field tonight.
