Classes canceled at Meadow Point Elementary in Aurora on Monday due to water main break

Classes were canceled at Meadow Point Elementary School on Monday due to a water main break. The school in Cherry Creek Schools was closed and all before and after-school child care was also canceled, according to school officials. 

School officials said the break was discovered after 6 a.m. Monday.

CBS News Colorado's helicopter flew over the school early Monday morning, where it appeared crews were in the parking lot, surrounding what appeared to be a small sinkhole. 

Aurora Water hasn't responded to CBS Colorado about how long repairs will take.
