City & County Of Boulder To Test Outdoor Sirens Monday

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - Don't worry, it's only a test, but also a sign that severe weather season is right around the corner.

On Monday, April 4, both the City and County of Boulder will test their outdoor emergency sirens.

Testing will begin at 10 a.m. and a second test will take place at 7 p.m. to ensure that all systems are working properly and to build public awareness.

Additional tests are scheduled for May 2, June 6 and August 1.

Residents in Louisville, Superior and Jamestown will only hear the tests on April 4.

If severe weather should threaten Boulder County on a testing day the tests may be cancelled.
