Child Seriously Injured After Getting Struck By Vehicle In Southwest Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are investigating an accident that left a child seriously injured Monday evening.
According to police, a child was struck by a vehicle just after 7 p.m. in the area of West Florida Avenue and South Tennyson Street.

Florida Avenue was temporarily closed from Utica to Stuart for the investigation.
The driver did stay on scene and the child transported to the hospital.
