Suspect Arrested, Shelter In Place Lifted In Aurora, Bus Routes Return To Normal
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Bus routes for Cherry Creek Schools were disrupted on Monday afternoon due to a possible shooting in Aurora. Police in Aurora arrested a suspect for allegedly firing a gun into the air.

Police tweeted an update after the arrest. All roads were reopened and the shelter in place was lifted.
It started with reports of gunshots fired into the air on Monday afternoon.

Police responded to the Heather Ridge Apartments in the 2300 block of S. Vaughn Way. All entrances have been closed at the apartment complex while police negotiate with the suspected gunman.

All bus routes were stopped in the area and residents asked to shelter in place until further notice.
