Cherry Creek Arts To Hold Festival In Stanley Marketplace

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The organizers of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival are hosting a festival in the yet-to-be-opened Stanley Marketplace later this month.

It will allow residents a chance to see the progress on the northwest Aurora project up close.

Chris Stevens, a spokesman for Cherry Creek Arts Festival, said they are excited for the opportunity.

"Stanley is this big blank canvas that allows us to come in and make it a festive environment. And we really think this neighborhood is hungry for something like this," he said.

Cherry Arts Festival at Stanley starts on the evening of Oct. 23 with a kickoff event.

The family-friendly festival continues on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. It will include indoor events plus activities in an outdoor tent.
