Check Cashing Business Robbed In Castle Rock, Image Of Suspect Released

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a store in Castle Rock.

The robbery happened just before noon on Wednesday at Check Into Cash located at 390 South Wilcox Street.

"No one was injured, and the suspect was in the store for less than one minute," police said in a statement.

A security camera caught a glimpse of the suspect.

Daniel C. Oakes High School was put on lockdown for about an hour.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 20 to 30 years of age, wearing jeans, a dark parka with a hood, a ball cap, an orange safety vest, light colored gloves, a white construction mask and armed with a handgun.
