'My Wife Is A Cheater' Spray Painted On House That Caught Fire
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Arvada police have a suspect in custody after an overnight house fire.
Police have arrested William Lindauer, 31, in connection with the fire. He's accused of spray-painting "My Wife Is A Cheater" on a home located at 6844 Nelson Street. An explosion was heard at approximately 1:30 a.m. and then a fire broke out at the home.
The home is badly damaged, but no one was hurt. It's not clear if anyone was home at the time.
Neighbors say a married couple has lived in the home for the last six years and had young children.
"Very, very surprised because that's a very nice family," a neighbor told CBS4. "I can't say a whole lot with the husband because he kind of stays to himself."
Neighbors also say it appeared the couple may have been going a separation over the last year.
"The wife is very, very nice; they've got three beautiful children," the neighbor said. "It looked like they might have separated, but I couldn't say that for sure."
Lindauer is listed as one of the owners of the home. He's facing first-degree arson and other related charges
