CDOT To Close I-70 In Glenwood Canyon This Week For Rock Slide Mitigation

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS43) - The Colorado Department of Transportation is planning another closure of Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon this week.

Crews are still working to clean up from last month's rock slide. They will be putting up fencing along I-70.

The interstate will be closed on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the Glenwood Springs exit to the Dotsero exit.

Crews finally got two lanes reopened so traffic can go through the canyon in both directions at the same time. It's still not clear when repairs will be complete.
