CDOT Expands 'Bustang' Service To Glenwood Springs To Include Weekends

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Department of Transportation is expanding its new regional bus service to add weekend rides to Glenwood Springs.

Starting Nov. 21 the Bustang will have one round trip on Saturdays and Sundays. The bus will run east from Glenwood Springs to Denver in the morning and then west from Denver back to Glenwood Springs late in the afternoon.

CDOT says it's adding the weekend service because of public demand.

"The success of the route on weekdays and strong public demand to add weekends fueled the need from Colorado's first-ever, state-owned and operated bus system," CDOT said in a statement.

All the details will be available on Nov. 16 on ridebustang.com.
