CDOT Crews Perform Emergency Pothole Repair On I-70 During Evening Commute

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Department of Transportation crews were making temporary repairs to eastbound Interstate 70 near Havana Street Monday evening.

According to CDOT, several potholes opened up along the two right lanes of eastbound I-70 near Havana because of weather conditions.

"Crews will make temporary repairs this afternoon until a more permanent solution can be implemented Tuesday after the storm passes," CDOT said in a statement.

The right two lanes of eastbound I-70 at Havana Street had to be closed for the work. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
