CDC: Most People Still Need Flu Shots, Colorado Has Had 79 Hospitalizations

DENVER (CBS4) - New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows most Americans have still not gotten their flu shot this season.

Doctors say now is the time to protect yourself, especially with holiday traveling coming up.

Flu activity is currently on the rise right now. Doctors say everyone six months and older is urged to get vaccinated.

The last report stats in Colorado had 79 hospitalizations due to the flu so far this season.
