Cattle Truck Rolls Over Near Bennett

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The driver of a cattle truck was rushed to the hospital after the tractor trailer rolled over in Bennett on Tuesday afternoon. The tractor trailer rolled on Old Victory Road located north of Highway 36.

The driver was transported to University of Colorado Hospital with minor injuries. Colorado State Patrol says a state veterinarian is assessing the cattle.

Officials say it's unclear how the cattle are hurt, or if any did not survive.

Copter4 flew over the crash which showed the tractor trailer on its side on the side of the road.

CSP officials say some of the cattle are still in the trailer and some are out.

No other vehicles were involved, and there are no road closures in that area. It's unclear what caused the crash.
