Case Of Man Accused In Neighborhood Rampage Heads To The Jury

DENVER (CBS4) - It is now up to a jury to decide the fate of a Denver man accused of killing his neighbor.

Police say Daniel Abeyta also shot his wife and put his whole neighborhood in danger with homemade explosives.

The incident happened two years ago at his home on South Irving Street near Evans in the Harvey Park neighborhood. He has been in jail since he was arrested.

Police ended up shooting and seriously injuring Abeyta.

Closing arguments wrapped up Monday and a jury is deliberating the case.
