Camping Area Reopened At Chatfield Reservoir

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- More recreation areas at Chatfield Reservoir are reopening to the public after heavy rain and snowmelt kept the water levels high.
Crews have reopened the Chatfield State Park entrance off Wadsworth along with the dog off-leash area. Camping is once again allowed but the swim beach remains closed.
Only canoes and kayaks are allowed on the water through July 4.
Last month Chatfield closed to boaters and swimmers because of the high water levels.
