Busy Intersection In Cherry Creek Back Open

DENVER (CBS4) - The busy intersection of 1st Avenue and University Boulevard in Cherry Creek is back open after being completely blocked off over the weekend.

Approximately 100,000 drivers go through the intersection every day.

The closure was designed to finish a sewer maintenance project that's been going on since January. The intersection has been prone to flooding.

The intersection has been tough to get around or through during the construction.
