Burning Truck Near I-25 Puts Out A Lot Of Smoke

BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4)- A burning truck sent up a lot of smoke on Interstate 25 north of the Denver metro area on Tuesday morning.

The truck caught fire on the frontage road next to the northbound lanes of I-25 at mile marker 250, near the Berthoud exit, about 11:40 a.m.

Although no lanes of traffic were blocked, the smoke was causing some visibility issues which resulted in some delays.

The Colorado Department of Transportation told CBS4 that a truck hauling hay caught fire. What caused the fire is being investigated.
