Building Destroyed By Fire In Boulder County

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – Copter4 flew over a fire at a property in Boulder County Monday afternoon.

The fire broke out on a property located in the 10100 block of Oxford Road west of Highway 287 at 3:45 p.m.

Flames destroyed one building and also spread to the grass near several other structures.

Mountain View Fire Rescue and Boulder Rural Fire Department battled to contain the fire.

"They protected multiple structures, however one structure was burned," Amy Tallent with Mountain View Fire Rescue said in a statement.

Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
