Buckley Airman Charged In Shooting Death Of His Wife

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- A Buckley Air Force Base airman has been charged in the shooting death of his wife.

The shooting happened about 6 p.m. Thursday inside the couple's apartment near Buckley and Alameda.

Brian Lebron-Rivera told police he and his wife were playing with his gun when he pulled the trigger.

He said he was trying to teach his wife how to take a gun from someone and did not think it was loaded.

Lebron-Rivera is facing manslaughter charges.
