2 Taken To Hospital In Brush Fire That Threatened Homes

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- A brush fire threatened five homes in Douglas County on Thursday afternoon.

The fire burned in the area of 4660 Bandera Place in Parker just after 3 p.m. It burned approximately 30 acres before firefighters got it fully contained.

Two people were taken to the hospital for injuries suffered in the fire.

Five homes on Raintree Circle were threatened and residents were advised to evacuate.

Road closures were also put in place during the firefight.
