Brush Fire Breaks Out In Eastern Colorado Near Strasburg

STRASBURG, Colo. (CBS4) - A brush fire broke out on Colorado's Eastern Plains early Friday afternoon in hot and windy conditions.

The fire is located north of Strasburg, and at 2:30 p.m. it was described as being about 4 to 5 acres in size.

It doesn't appear any structures are threatened by the fire.

The temperatures in the area were registering in the mid to upper 80s and wind gusts were erratic due to a storm on the Front Range to the west.
