Brush Fire Breaks Out Along Roxborough Park Road

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters have responded to a brush fire that burned about 20 acres Wednesday afternoon.

According to South Metro Fire Rescue, they were assisting West Metro Fire Rescue on a brush fire burning along Roxborough Park Road.

Smoke was visible from miles away.

The fire was estimated at 20 acres and was burning on private land.

It's not clear how the fire started.

Firefighters were able to save a shed with a steer and $40,000 worth of hay inside.
