Broncos Trade Tackle Chris Clark For Draft Pick
DENVER (CBS4) - The Broncos offensive line has lost a little bit of depth.
The team announced on Monday they are trading tackle Chris Clark to the Houston Texans for a 2016 NFL Draft pick. The action depends on Clark passing a physical.
Clark filled in admirably in the 2013 season when Ryan Clady was injured, and there was some thought he would do so again after Clady suffered a season-ending injury in May. However, the team apparently has confidence in rookie Ty Sambrailo.
The Broncos get a seventh-round pick in exchange for Clark.
The Broncos are in the midst of making cuts to their roster to meet Tuesday afternoon's NFL 75-man roster deadline.
Get very little in return for trades this time of year. Especially when teams are waiving RB's like Fred Jackson. https://t.co/2vZ6jeX4Nn

Clark obviously wasn't in Broncos plans. They may still bring in another OT. https://t.co/h1b2Po0K7u
