Broncos Sign Free Agent Long Snapper Casey Kreiter

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- The Denver Broncos signed free agent long snapper Casey Kreiter to a one year contract.

Kreiter is a first-year player who competed with Dallas during the last two offseasons and participated in a combined six preseason games for the club.

Kreiter, 6-foot-1, 250 pounds, was signed by the Cowboys as a college free agent in 2014 from the University of Iowa.

Additional Information from the Denver Broncos:

A former special-teams captain for the Hawkeyes, Kreiter was the school's primary long snapper during his final three collegiate seasons. He received All-Big Ten Conference recognition following his senior season in 2013.

Kreiter was an all-state linebacker at Central High School in DeWitt, Iowa, and was born on Aug. 13, 1990.
