Broncos Release First Injury Report Leading Up To The Super Bowl

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos and Panthers have released their first injury reports leading up to the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.

Five Broncos players were listed as "did not practice" (although the team didn't actually have practice Wednesday -- this was just an estimation of what their statuses would have been had they practiced):

Shiloh Keo (quad), Darian Stewart (knee), Louis Vasquez (knee) and T.J. Ward (ankle)

Ward and Steward are the starting safeties, and Keo is a backup to them, so it looks like that is the position that is of the highest concern for the Broncos right now.

Josh Bush, another backup safety, is listed on the injury report with a shoulder injury, but his participation in practice -- had there been practice on Wednesday -- was full.

Stewart and Ward were both hurt on Sunday's AFC Championship win against the Patriots. Keo and Bush filled in, and Chris Harris Jr. slid to play safety in some packages.

The Broncos also have six other players listed on the report -- Peyton Manning (foot), DeMarcus Ware (knee), Brandon Marshall (ankle), Harris (shoulder), Owen Daniels (knees) and Todd Davis (shoulder) -- and all were estimated to be "full" as participants had there been a practice.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that there was an actual team practice on Wednesday.
