Broncos Practice Reopens To Public On Wednesday

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos will re-open their training camp to the public Wednesday.

The team practiced on soggy fields Tuesday, a day after a powerful thunderstorm turned the complex into what defensive coordinator Wade Phillips called "Dove Lake."

The fields drained well and there were no storm-related issues at the UCHealth Training Center, formerly known as Dove Valley.

The practice was closed to the public, however, because the dirt parking lots were still a muddy mess from the storm that dumped 3 1/2 inches of rain in an hour and blew over some tents.

Even as another storm rolled over the Rocky Mountains Tuesday, forcing the Broncos to move their evening walkthrough indoors, the team said it would reopen gates Wednesday.
