Broncos Players Raise Money, Mingle With Hundreds At Wine, Women & Football

DENVER (CBS4) - CBS4's sixth annual Wine, Women and Football was a sold out hit on Tuesday night.

Women arrived at Vie nightclub in Larimer Square to food, wine, and auction items.

Broncos players began arriving shortly after, and each signed a football to be auctioned before entering the crowd of 400 women to mingle.

David Bruton, Shaquil Barrett, Bradley Roby, Chris Harris, Ronnie Hillman, Brandon Marshall, and T.J. Ward were all in attendance.

Shaquil Barrett spoke with CBS4's Karen Leigh about the significance of the event, which benefits victims of domestic violence through The Brandon Safe Haven Center and Volunteers of America.

After socializing, the players gathered on stage for a Q&A session with the crowd. Questions ranged from naming the best dressed Broncos player to practicing under a new coach.

When asked who was the best dancer, Brandon Marshall and David Bruton responded with a dance off.

Wine, Women & Football raised over $25,000 this year.
