Broncos Players, Miles The Mascot Put On Football Camp For At-Risk Kids

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Some Denver Broncos players teamed up with the Grandview High School football team on Wednesday to put on a special camp for Denver area's at-risk youth.

The players coached the kids on basic football skills, fitness training and sportsmanship. They were even treated to an appearance from Miles the Mascot.

"The kids are really amped up, they've probably been amped up all week, and as soon as they knew that Miles would be here and the Broncos were involved, you know, they're excited right away," said Alexxa Gagner, Denver Rescue Mission Director of Public Relations.

More than 100 kids from the Denver Rescue Mission participated in the camp.
