Broncos To Place Ty Sambrailo On Season-Ending Injury Reserve

DENVER (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Broncos are set to place Ty Sambrailo on season-ending injury reserve.

Sambrailo, a rookie from the Colorado State Rams who was picked in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, started several games after left tackle Ryan Clady tore his ACL in a pass-blocking drill in the offseason.

Now Sambrailo's season is over, too.

Kubiak said Sambrailo will have surgery on his injured shoulder sometime in the next week. He was hurt in the Broncos Week 3 win over Detroit.

The Broncos moved Harris from right tackle to the left side and protection of quarterback Peyton Manning has improved for a group comprised entirely of newcomers in front of the 39-year-old passer.

he Broncos have not allowed a sack in the past two games, when Harris and Tyler Polumbus rotated at left tackle.
