Despite another strong defensive performance, Denver lost 16-3 and now have an 8-6 record.

After starting out with some impressive offensive plays early in the game, New England's defense clamped down and the rest of the day was filled mostly with failed attempts to convert third downs for quarterback Trevor Siemian and his teammates.

Two key starters for the Broncos were injured Sunday. Derek Wolfe left the game with a neck injury and Virgil Green sustained a concussion.

The Miami Dolphins are now sitting in the second wild card spot with two weeks left in the regular season. Miami defeated the New York Jets 34-13 on Saturday night.
