Broncos Fire Offensive Coordinator Mike McCoy
DENVER (CBS4) - With the Broncos in the midst of a six-game losing streak, the team has fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.
Bill Musgrave will take over as the offensive play caller beginning with Sunday's game in Oakland.
McCoy was hired as the Broncos offensive coordinator after four years as the head coach of the San Diego Chargers.
He was with the Broncos from 2009-2012 and was the offensive coordinator from 2010-2012; however, he failed to have success in his return in 2017.
The Broncos currently rank 18th in the NFL in yards per game (329.8), and are 24th in points per game (18.3).

The Broncos offense hit its lowest point in week seven when they were shutout for the first time since 1992 in a 21-0 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Not only did the Broncos struggle to score points, they also struggled to take care of the football. Denver has 23 turnovers this season, the second most in the NFL. Only the Browns have more turnovers.
The Broncos are currently 3-7 and their six game losing streak is the longest losing streak since 1990.
Sunday's game at Oakland is scheduled for a 2:25 kickoff and can be seen on CBS4.
