Broncos Face Hardest End-Of-Season Schedule In NFL Since 1978

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - No team in the NFL has had a harder end-of-the-season schedule since 1978 than the Broncos do this year.

NFL Research, which is the league's official media research group, tweeted out the fun fact Tuesday afternoon.

According to them, no team in nearly four decades is up against what the Broncos face in the last three weeks of the 2016 season, and that's three teams that all started their season 10-3.

The New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oakland Raiders aren't all just in the playoff hunt, but they're leading the charge in the AFC, each with a chance to clinch a postseason bid with a victory over the Broncos.

So what was the team's response to this news?

Bring it.

The Broncos play the Patriots at 2:25 p.m. on CBS4, as do the Raiders on Sunday, Jan. 1.

The game against the Chiefs on Christmas is the primetime night game at 6:30 p.m. on NBC.
