Broncos Encourage Fans To Dress Up For Sunday's Game

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos are encouraging fans who are heading to Sunday's game to come dressed up in Halloween costumes, and the team says they have a few tricks and treats up their sleeve.

The Broncos face the San Diego Chargers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Kickoff is at 2:05 p.m. and the game is on CBS4.

The team announced Friday that there will be some fun Halloween-themed changes fans will notice at the stadium for the game:

- Dry ice in the fountain on the south side of the stadium
- Professional pumpkin carver ("in the Noble Energy Sports Legends Mall")
- Spooky halftime show

Fans who come in costumes will not be allowed in the stadium if the costume includes sharp objects. Any fan with a mask on will also have to take it off for the security screening process.

The team says the following will not be allowed in:

- weapons
- swords
- tridents
- scythes
- pumpkins

The Broncos will host a costume contest in-stadium on social media and encourage fans to post their photos using #BroncosHalloween for a chance to win Broncos prizes. Costume contest winners will be selected and direct messaged to redeem prizes.
