Broncos Country License Plate Found At Scene Of Hit & Run, Car Located

DENVER (CBS4) - Police are looking for the driver of a car they say hit another car and sped off overnight.

The hit-and-run crash took place at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue after midnight, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a Medina Alert a few hours later.

The car has been located but nobody was been taken into custody.

The car in the intersection had three people inside and it struck a pole after the collision. The driver and one passenger were injured but are expected to survive.

Investigators found the license plate from the car they believe caused the crash at the crash scene. The driver who took off apparently had a Broncos Country license plate on it which fell off during the impact.

The CBI issues statewide Medina Alerts after hit-and-run incidents where a driver is still being sought.
