Broncos Add DE Thompson To Practice Squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos signed rookie defensive end Zach Thompson to the practice squad on Monday.

The Wake Forest product spent the preseason with the New York Jets after signing as a free agent in the spring. Thompson, 23, was among the Jets' final cuts this weekend.

He started 40 college games and collected 151 tackles, 11 sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in his career.
