'Heavy Extrication' Needed After Head-On Accident

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters had to cut apart a car to save a person Friday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on 160th Avenue and Havana Street, and involved the car that was cut open and a pickup truck.

The person in the car was airlifted to the hospital "following heavy extrication."

There is no update on the status of their injuries, or what happened to cause the crash.
