Breckenridge Police Search For Vehicle In Connection With Equipment Theft

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Breckenridge would like the public's help locating a vehicle possibly involved in a theft a of $4,000 utility reader.

According to police, last Thursday an employee of the United States Infrastructure Company set the device on the ground in a black bag on the corner of French and Boreas Pass Road.

"Upon returning he found the device missing and reported it to police," police said in a statement.

The device, which is half of a functioning unit, should have an asset sticker on it with either #95965 or #95967.

Police are looking for a two-toned Subaru Baja as a vehicle of interest.
