Colorado Boy Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Falling From 2nd Floor Of Town Center Of Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora firefighters rushed to the Town Center of Aurora on Sunday afternoon for a child who reportedly fell from the second floor to the first floor. The child suffered life-threatening injuries.

AFD officials tell CBS4 the 2-year-old boy was in his father's arms at the top of an escalator. Officials say the child lunged forward, and the father lost his grip of the boy.

Fire officials say they are investigating, but this appears to be an accident.
