Boulder Woman's Dogs Returned After Her Stolen Car Is Found

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Boulder say two stolen dogs have been returned to their owner after her stolen car was found.

The incident occurred Friday when Cheryl Firby left her car running with her two border collies inside as she went into a store. The car was then stolen.

A resident told police she noticed the dogs in the Audi Friday and took the animals in overnight. She called police after seeing the report on the news. The car was found in 2800 block of Broadway. Police are processing the car for evidence.

Police haven't released any suspect information.
