Wildland Fire Sparks In Boulder Open Space

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder firefighters rushed to a wildland fire early Sunday morning west of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The fire was sparked off of Broadway near Baseline Road at around midnight.

The fire grew to about 2.5 acres. Crews say they contained it, but it is not under control. No structures are threatened.

It's not clear how the fire started. Four Pines Trail is closed.
